Oranges are a big part of Florida life, you can find orange trees scattered all over the place. However, oranges are actually native to southern China, northeast India, and Myanmar. In fact, the earliest mention of sweet oranges (distinct from bitter oranges) was in 314 BCE in a piece of Chinese literature.
